Dom Manuel Palace, located in Évora, Portugal, formerly known as the Royal Palace of San Francisco was built by D. Afonso V, who wished to have in the city a true palace of the castle settle.
The palace, besides having been one of the greatest architectural works of the country, also had an enormous historical importance, because it was in it that Vasco da Gama was invested in command of the squadron of the discovery of the maritime road to India and it was also in the palace Gil Vicente represented seven of its cars, dedicated to the queens D.
