Our 3-star hotel is situated in a peaceful yet central location at the edge of the forest in the old and attractive spa resort of Bad Liebenstein. The building is an ancient historical estate with a beautiful rose garden.
Here you can find peace and quiet, while our hotel provides you with all you need. The adjoining Reha-Klinik Heinrich Mann clinic has a therapy centre, an indoor swimming pool, outpatient spa therapy, spa packages and medical facilities. The hotel is located next to the forest in the middle of the “green heart” of Germany, 350 metres above sea level. There are many charming hiking paths to discover in the beautiful surrounding landscape.
The spa town is famous due to its carbonic spring. The legendary “Rennsteig” hiking trail passes nearby and there is also the “Höhenkammweg” hiking path in the Thuringian Forest

Interesting destinations are the town of Eisenach and its museum devoted to Bach the composer; the Wartburg Castle, the classical music towns of Weimar and Erfurt, the theatre town Meiningen, the town of Schmalkalden with its timbered houses, the Altersteiner Palace with its park, the Trusetaler waterfall, the salt works Bad Salzungen and the mine adventure park Merkers.
Our hotel has direct access to the therapy centre and the indoor swimming pool of the rehabilitation centre next door.
