El Cajon del Maipo is one of the places of greatest tourist attraction in the region.
It has beautiful and countless natural landscapes that escape the bustle of the city, providing a pleasant tour. In the Cajón del Maipo you can see wonderful landscapes such as the El Morado Natural Monument, the Cascada de las Ánimas Nature Sanctuary and the Río Clarillo National Reserve.

It is located one hour from Santiago. You can get there: By Bus There is a bus line that leaves from Terminal San Borja in Central Station, every half hour. The trip takes 2 hours. Another option is to take Metro line 5 and get off at Plaza Puente Alto Station and then a bus or microbus that says ´´Cajón del Maipo´´, these also make the route through Vicuña Mackenna, Concha y Toro, Eyzaguirre, Vizcachas until the Cajón del Maipo Volcano Trail.
By car An alternative to get to Cajón del Maipo from Santiago is by Avenida La Florida or by Avenida Vicuña Mackenna until you reach Puente Alto, then on Eyzaguirre street take a left towards Las Vizcachas where you will find Route G-25 that will lead you to Cajón . Route G-25 is paved to the town of San Gabriel at kilometer 56.
Here we can observe a great variety of flora and fauna and we must not forget to bring your camera as it is not to be missed.
