The WuhrsteinHaus is a cosy bed and breakfast located in the middle of the beautiful Achental valley. It offers a small outdoor wellness area with sauna and hot tub which can be used free of charge.
On the ground floor there are common areas with a small library in the fireplace room, a games room with board games, maps and a games console, as well as a room for watching sports events on TV. With the Geigelsteinbahn cable car (about 3 minutes away) you can also reach the Wuhrsteinalm pasture at an altitude of 1,120 metres on your way to the highest mountain in the Chiemgau region. From here you can make fantastic summit tours or simply relax with delicious food on the terrace.
The proximity to the mountains and Lake Chiemsee offers numerous sports facilities, but also a large wellness offer and alternatives in bad weather. In winter it is only a few minutes drive to beautiful ski areas and beautiful toboggan runs. Cross-country ski trails are adjacent to the house.
The A8 motorway is just a 20-minute drive away. Explore the surrounding countryside with its interesting cultural highlights via the extensive hiking and cycling routes. Here in this typical Bavarian village you will find rustic cottages brimming with colourful flowers as well as many historical and cultural attractions.
