In the recently restored “Casa Mirador de Lukas”, the Renzo Pecchenino Foundation exhibits the permanent collections of the great Journalist, Publicist and Cartoonist of the same name. The original drawings of "Lukas", who knew how to capture with his brush and pen the identity and customs of the inhabitants of Valparaíso, are exhibited in this great cultural center, as well as videos, book sales and various souvenirs.
After a restoration process, carried out by the architect Alvaro Montecinos L., the “Casa Mirador de Lukas” today offers a first-class infrastructure, on the first floor of which is located a shop with literature, prints, objects with images made by the Cartoonist and artistic material specially selected for this place.
The cultural center has the “Pedro Ibáñez O.” Conference Room, with a capacity for sixty people, where film series and workshops will also be held.

There are several alternatives to get to Valparaíso:
By bus
The trip takes 1 hour 45 minutes from Santiago. Existing departures with a frequency of 15 minutes, the bus companies offer a good level of service and comfort.
By car
For those who wish to arrive by car from Santiago, they should take Route 68, the estimated travel time being 1 hour and 30 minutes.
On the second floor, there are three exhibition rooms, in which Lukas' collections are presented, such as "Apuntes Porteños", "Trazos en el Mar", "Selection of Chilean Humor", among others. The "Sala Valparaíso - Beltrán Urenda" is also part of the venue, and is dedicated to presenting itinerant exhibitions by other artists. Finally, on this floor you can visit the interesting "Lukas Workshop", where the artist's workplace has been recreated as faithfully as possible and where most of the works on display were born.
